Thank you to those who have tried String Riffs. It is fun to hear that String Riffs gives teachers more options for open string pieces. I have also heard that the variety is fun to use.
My students are reviewing the previous volume and will arrive in the more challenging volume in the next couple of weeks. We have filled in gaps of knowledge, cemented reading of the A and D strings and developed more rhythmic independence with String Riffs.
I’ve also noticed that by pushing through the easy songs, the students are more eager to play complete pieces.
